Any of you guys ever fish their,I never have but would like to try it this spring if we get some rain,is their a boat ramp their, is the fishing any good below the dam, I will be fishing for catfish.

Fishing is usually really good in spring for sand bass. Their is a boat ramp. Catfishing is good also. Mostly fished for sandies.

I like that spillway, some times I'd drive out to just people watch. We cast net shad there in the spring for catfishing the west end of the lake. I've seen everything from massive shad to stripers to carp and buffalo caught there.
Going to take the kayak out on the flats near the bird watching area north of the ramp by the dam. Should be fun during the spawn.

I used to fish the lake side of the dam all the time for catfish. Very good fishing there off the rocks with Catfish Charley. That was also in warmer weather.
