Problems with trim

I'm having an issue with my bayhawks trim, it seems that it wont trim up when im under power..does fine when idle or when the boat is on the trailor.. it does leak down a bit.. Can anyone tell me what I need to or can check..to see what causing this problem..and what I can do to correct it?

Check fluid level. Also, when you are "under power" your throttle lever is foward. Could be a wiring problem in your throttle handle.

thanks, I'll take a look at that..I tried , with the boat on the trailor, to trim it up with the throttle full forward..and reversed..and it trimmed up fine.. Having a feeling the trim jack is leaking internally... (no fluid on or around the jack)..

It's really easy to check the fluid level. If you do add fluid, remember to raise the tilt all the way and then open the fill port slowly to release pressure, then check the level. Don't top it off completely, because it has to have room for thermal expansion.
