I would much rather take my canoe after crappie than sit at a dock surrounded by people. Are there any hot spots on joe pool that I can access easily? Any help its greatly appreciated.

I have spent many hours feeding many different species of fish.........and on occasion land a few.

I've been kayaking the creek off 661. There's also Walnut Creek, you can get to from Loyd Park. Could also try fishing around the boat docks at the marina.

Yeah, I'm pretty much new to anything other than drowning minnows at the dock. It's been about 9 months since I got my yak and took up fishing with a passion. I don't always bring anything home, heck I probably get skunked more often than I'd care to admit, but I'm learning each trip and I always have a good time on the water.
