For the last 2-3 years I've passed a fairly large pond going west on highway 180 into mineral wells. There is a brick company called Athens Brick Co(Hanson brick Inc.) on the east side with a makeshift boat ramp type thing goin to the water. I have noticed people fishing there in the past but I have no idea if it's public or not. Im pretty sure there is a fence around it but like I said there is a road right next to it so that makes some sense. A quick google earth search shows another pond behind this larger pond, and a few roads/trails that connect to it from the Mineral Wells state trail way. If anyone has any info that could help me out that'd be great, send me a pm or post here, my buddies and I would love to check it out, Thanks
The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. ~John Buchan

Anything with a fence is private Good assumption to make, however don't conclude that the opposite is also true
