I'm wanting to get a 4 rod set-up to start pushing jigs with. I'm leaning heavily towards the Bee Ready adjustable, but also like the Driftmaster Gunslinger as well. Any advice is appreciated.

Perotti Bilt I have these! All metal, and work great! Very adjustable!

I have the driftmasters and bee ready. Driftmaster is by far more sturdy than the bee ready are.

Is that 6" PVC Keith? You have too much time on your hands now that you're retired LOL!

Yes 6" PVC... Had all the material in my shop. Drew up the temp. on graphics, printed it out, wrap around pipe, traced around it and cut away. Used 1" tubing, weld here, weld thare and bingo.

WTG Keith! 6" PVC? Really?? Nice - never seen that application! That will go in the "PVC uses" hall of fame. Back to the topic... BEE READY!! Love those suckas I have three bases (One in the stern just in case) and two 4 rod risers. Combine that with 10 and 12' Pro angler rods... and u r in tall cotton. Spider riggin heaven. Unlimited adjustability to get your rods set 'just right' over the water and spaced apart. As far as being sturdy... 100's (?) of Catfisherman use these rod holders to catch brutes! Check these out from last weekend. You can see the rod holders in action. http://forum. lakelavonfishing .com/index.php?topic=20477.0 (copy/Paste and delete the spaces before and after 'lakelavonfishing' to follow link) [There's got to be a better way to reference another forum] Sounds like that old commercial, sensitive enough for crappie but strong enough for HAWG catfish.

Lonestar proud, don't forget to look at Cumberland Crappie. They make a great rod holder at a good price. Fully adjustable with no tools and they have a small plate as a base that does not get in your way when you have them out of your boat.

Success is determined by adding a great attitude to effort and remembering that you can't fail unless you quit trying.
