About to take my concealed handgun license course. Been thinking about the places I would have to carry it... if I am going to do this I want to get in the habit of having it on me at all times. Which includes while fishing out of the kayak.

Just don't take it to Lavon,COE property does not allow them! Atleast that's what the game warden told FSO awhile back.

I believe army corp parks n state parks R off limits. I don't know why though. Maybe they have better reasoning?

All the time. Under Texas law if it is not visble it is legal in autos and boats without a conceal carry permit.

alot of folks must expect trouble out on the water? I go out
all the time by myself & nvr once has it crossed my mind that i may run into trouble.
