I was at Monticello today and never hit the water as my starter went out. A guy at the ramp that lives out there recommended I call Copeland Marine in Mt. Pleasant. I called him and he said he didn't have a new starter but bring it by and let him look at it. I went to his shop and he checked my starter "it was terminal" Mr. Copeland tore it down and rebuilt it while I waited and I was back at the ramp within 2 hours. And more than a fair price. If you are out in that area and need help he does a great job. Copeland Marine 903-572-6563

Dadda I have used Mr. Copeland for years and he does very good work. I will go out of my way to take my boat out there if it needs anything. He probably had you fixed and back on the water in a fair amount of time.

Fishn, I called him and described the problem. He said bring it in and he would look at it. I got there and had to stop in the driveway and admire the view "WOW". He looked at it took the starter off and rebuilt it and I was out the door within an hour and a half. And he is trying to get over the flu. The only thing he didn't have in stock was a new bendix, so I am going to get one and put it on.
