Deer farmer.....I will post a video that I shot a few days ago here for you that should give you a visual of what to look for. It's one thing to talk and type, but it should be easier if you actually see it. I shot the video(s) with the iphone so quality might suck.....done videos before where they came out great and others that you couldnt understand a damn word I said.

Are the guides doing any better right now? I rarely see any good posts from guides down there...

Won't get any info until after BassChamps. Everyone is tight lipped right now.

Try rocky points in 10 to 18 foot that meet the creek channels, stock up on XD 6 Cranks and 3/4 jigs in black/brown/chart. Might catch that 13+ fish, good luck. Was there last week and had a great time, we only had 5 over 8 in three days and lost a few big ones we did not see.

Save your money on the mexico license. stay on the tx side, its much safer anyway. If you have fished tx, you will be surprised at how much harder they fight on Falcon. A 5#er feels more like a 9 or 10 from here.

no worries DF.......let me know how you gentlemen did after day 1. I can tell you right now that the bite was fantastic this morning. It's been a long time since I have said that. Caught fish from 25 to 5 foot of water. No monsters (8.13 was biggest), but a lot of fun to boot. Time for some honey do's.....drop me a line on here if yall need anything.

My buddy caught an 11.5 and I caught a 10.5 the first trip we ever took to Falcon. IMO, there are more double digit fish in Falcon than any other lake in Texas.
