Is it a bad idea to use Senkos for 15 tournaments straight? I fish the Potomac river and have 15 tournaments there as a co-angler in 2012 and a senko is my #1 confidence bait......

If it catches fish for you then use them.

I agree if it works go for it but I wouldn't be so locked in on one bait or presentation, if it becomes obvious that something else may work better.
Of course I used to show up at tournaments years ago with the same Blue Fleck Powerworm on 3-4 rods because that was all in knew, and to this day it's still my number one confidence bait. Good luck!!!!

Yes! There is an unwritten Fishing Code that states, One can only throw Senko,s in 14 consecutive tournaments! Lol After that the fish will boycott your bait. Not! Dude, go with what you know!

If you are the co-angler and not always the guy running the trolling motor you may have a problem. It's tough if not impossible to work a senko effectively if the boat is moving too fast. Trying to fish a senko while the guy in the front is zooming down the bank tossing a blade or a buzzbait is probably not going to enhance your chances of winning, add some more techniques to your arsenal.

I have a buddy in my club and he fishes nothing but senkos wacky rigged... and I swear I don't know how he does it - I can't do that for more than 15 mins without becoming bored out of my head... but he does that day in - day out, rain or shine, night or morning.... (you get it...) and he almost always finishes in the top 3 of my club at each tourney, typically out of 12 guys or thereabouts and there are some good sticks in my club!
