The Classic is in Shreveport, be sure you guys know that before you start driving, there is no Bourbon Street there grin

*********

Ride-or-Fish, glad you will be attending the Classic you will really enjoy it, I do not recommend your friend pulling his boat as the launch will be open just for competitors and camera boats. Let me know if I can help you with any more info, hope to see you there.

I'll be heading down on Saturday got a room at the Hilton... probably spend most of my time at the expo center right there at the Hotel area.

Need to get anywere your going... early! Plan on waiting and some frustration. Just like going to any large sporting event!!! It can be all very enjoyable if you don't mind crowds.

A few of us from the club are going for the first time. I have a feeling it's going to be an expensive weekend between the expo and casinos. Looking forward to it!

They used to have a couple of good "gentlemen's" clubs in that area, back in the day...

So that's where you got the name "Doug E. Fresh", you were motor-boating and she thought you were rapping!

Everything about it is cool if you are a bass fisherman and a bass fishing fan! Take lots of money because there is lots to buy at the expo. Make certain you go to launch one day, be there when they come in to load up one day, and go to the weigh in one day (preferably the final day). You will be surprised how accessable the pros are.

Great experience last time it was in Shreveport. Went to the Saturday boat launch and the Saturday and Sunday weigh-ins...pretty amazing. The expo was awesome too and the pros that are in attendance are glad to sign autographs and chat. Make sure to take some stuff to get signed because you will run into some of the best fishermen in the world at the expo, especially on Sunday!
