Ok i know someone out there has had this problem at one time or another.
When i brought my skeeter it came with a foot controlled Motor Guide Tour Edition 767, after checking the whole boat out, i then moved up to the trolling motor and everytime i pressed the foot control to operate the T.M the blade would turn 1 rotation and then i can hear a click in the head of the trolling motor and it also tricks my breaker.

Is this possibly a wire issue in the head?

Thanks

Ray hammer

I would bring the TM to All Star & let them look at it. I don't think they charge for a quick inspection. To me it sounds like it's drawing too much current.

Take it to Bob as SW parts mockingbird before Irving blvd. The 767 had a relay and some wiring in the head. The new one have everything in the bottom. Worst case they can upgrade it to the latest and greatest.
