IF it came from Monti, that's a real rare feat. If from the lake in the background, still a nice fish.

Riiiiigghhttt....

Everybody knows that catching the fish is only half the fun. Bragging to your buddies is the other half dude! Yes, I get a lot of personal satisfaction from catching the fish but if I had to go fishing by myself, I would never go! It's all about sharing the experience and Yes, sometimes it's even about making your buds a little jealous....

If I ever catch a 10lber from Fork I am taking it to Lake Arlington and taking a picture, then taking it back to Fork. Just for fun!

Seems to be a lot of skeptics on this post. If he said Monticello then leave it alone.

Thanks tx fishin fool, I agree. It ain't about fishing with someone to share the experience or brag!!! Who cares!!! I fish for me cause I luv to jaw jack 5 pounders whether is on a jig or c-rig. I fish for the thrill cause I love it!!

That guy probly watches lifetime for "the experience". Lol

Its much more enjoyable for me to take someone fishing and see them catch fish, than it is to catch them myself. I get on the water a lot and get to catch some fish regularly.

Ken is a great example of someone who takes others and I hear he even says hey "cast right there".
Though I used to have a partner that I much enjoyed giving him a thrashing when we fun fished, but most the time I was on the receiving end of it, lol ...

I don't think I'm nowhere near confident enough or good enough to guide but there is no substitute for time on the water... And I spend a ton of time on Monti and Pines and I can catch em. Everywhere else it's hit or miss for me!!

That's a monster! I'm another naysayer, though, on where she was caught. Monti....no. Sorry! JMO.... No matter where she was caught, you deserve the recognition. Tell your buddies thanks for talking you in to posting the pic. hung

That's the whole point to guiding "catch em". Plenty of clients on both lakes. How about some GPS coordinates on the Pines for the BBB in May?

Luckily he knew his buddy's pond was suitable for backing his bass boat in off the bank and pullin' it back out...

When he went over there to get his picture taken and refill his live wells, that is.

LOL.
