I got the chance to fish with some very nice people this weekend at Boomtown lake in Vidor. Yes, it was windy but I must say that Carp fishermen are definitely a cut above. Everyone was willing to teach and share. Something not common anymore these days. I must say it felt great being on a bank with folks who made you feel like friends. Thanks to Justin and Adam for helping me catch my new PB Common. I just wanted to say thanks to all of you who shared their ideas and recipes.
Trying to catch anything that swims.
Commons, Buffs, whatever....

No problem John anytime! Was a lot of fun and glad we could get you onto some fish. We will be planning more trips soon and i will post them here so anyone that wants to, can come on out as well.
