Going camping at sunset point and was wondering if anyone has been fishing out there lately?? It will be my first trip out to LBJ..But still a toss up between Choke or LBJ? The biggest thing keeping me leaning towards LBJ is that I heard about the gators at Choke and we got a 10month old lab that we cannot keep out of the water..

Fished it last two weekends and caught 5to6 fish all day.Fished docks close to deep water, with black and blue jigs 1/4 to 3/8 oz. Thats all you need to throw. As far as choke head to north side of lake and fish all the wood you can find with same jigs.

I'd hate to say it but that Legend guy is right. Not a whole lot of numbers but that is the pattern, only thing I would add would be to concentrate on wooden docks. No need to go all the to the backs of the pockets. Stay on mainlake or bigger creek arm points that have docks or chunk rock bottoms, good luck!
