I'm having problems with my Trim gauge. My Optimax trims fine but my needle won't go up! Anyone got any ideas?

More than likely the trim sender unit is bad on teh motor. The sender cost about $37.00 and is prett easy to install then adjust.

Why do you need it? Since it is an outboard, just look over your shoulder. I have a 19' FnS with 150 merc and no trim gauge. My .02 for what it is worth.
