Was wondering what people use for jig fishing. I have a falcon bucco 7 ft MH and it dont feel like its stiff enough. I might try it with my carolina rig rod. veritas 7ft H

All depends what you want to do really. I don't think there is one perfect rod. I throw a quarter ounce jig ALOT and No way I could accurately flip it on the rod I throw 1/2 ounce jigs on.

I use several, in heavy cover using 3/4 to 1oz jigs or big football jigs, a Falcon Cara Amistad. Lighter jigs (1/2 oz or so) I use a Lowrider MH 7'. For finesse jigs I use a Lowrider 6'8" AOY.

Depends on the size jig your throwing and what your rod length preference.. Check out Moby Bass Series, by Custom Angle Rods, Lake Fork Texas. The 6'6" XH Jig Master, 7'0" XH Magnum or the 7'6" XH Flip Master. If your throwing heavy jigs, you can not beat the Moby Bass Series Pro Models, up to 8'0" in a Heavy, X-Heavy and up to 7'6" XX-Heavy and XXX-Heavy.

currently I only throw 1/2oz football and flipping jigs, and I throw em on a 7' MH Veritas and really like it. I like it better than the Skeet Reese micro guide jig rod.
the Veritas has enough tip to do accurate roll casts and enough backbone to get fish out of cover and into the boat

I went right Down the road from you to the Castaway factory and got mine. It's a Skeleton series fliping stick, 7' 6", with micro guides. I fish a jig a whole lot and I love it. By far my favorite rod I own.

I use a 7'4" H Quantum Tour Edition to cast to deep water structure and a 7'6" H Falcon Expert for shallow cover.

I also own some of the Custom Angle Rods and they are great. I have a 7' XH Mag that is in excellent condition that is great for jigs.

Dobyns DX745C and Dobyns Champion 736C usually get most of my flipping/pitching jig work.

MH if you are Pitching the Jig. Heavy if you are casting the Jig.
