The speed control has gone haywire. Any help would be appreciated.

I have had just the opposite experience. The last 3 times I have taken a motor to them I got it back fixed and in the time frame he told me.

I never had a bad experience in the 20+ years I've use Boris.

If you want a place in FTW Boris is the place. I have never had a single issue with them. They have even fixed mine while I waited a time or two. Good folks and friendly as well. Good prices. These are just my personal experiences though.

If you don't need it fixed right away PM me. If you are talking about the round knob that controls the speed of the prop you can order that and replace it pretty easy.

yeah on Boris Marine but you can order and solder new potentiometer on yourself and save lots of money

Boris is the way to go in Fort Worth. I've used them all and I won't go back to any of them accept Boris. SW parts has been good to my friends that have used them if you want to make the drive.
