This is Viet Carper, report from Lady Bird Lake, Austin, Texas. (Sound like you are listening to the radio show

Well, today is another amazing day. However, not as many surprised as yesterday, I ended up hooked total 11 common carp, they are all good looking and healthy.
I start with same rods and reels again, but have some adjustment on the set up, and of course the bait. I tried to used some "home made" bait, and the result was great.
As usual, I always started up with some baby carp. The first caught was 8.9lbs
Then the second
It was very slow in the morning. I thought all the fish are gone after the successful yesterday, and they don't want to eat my foods anymore, or probably the new change on the bait make a different. I have to wait for about 2 hours.
While I was waiting for the fish, there was a guy came and talk to me, his name is Billie (I hope that I spell his name right). He has been reading my posts on the forum. Nice guy and nice conversation, while we were having the conversation, got me another run, I ended up with a 27.8lbs
As usual, the fish then released safely to the water where it belongs.
Billie left after I caught this fish, then I have to wait for about 45 more minutes. There are lots of people came and see me fishing, lots of kids, and they asked me to teach them how to carp fishing. Well, I gave them a lesson
Got me another hit, I asked them "who want to practice?" Robert, 9 years old said that he wanna try. I gave him the rod and tell him to reel it in. He gave up when the fish was mid way out of the water. I continued to reel the fish in, ending up a 37.3lbs. That was beautiful.
Here is my little student (his name is Robert)
He barely lift the fish up because it was too heavy for him
About 3:15PM, I got another run, and here is 29.5lbs common
