i limited out 3 times last April. that creek was STACKED with crappie last spring! That creek is also stacked with snakes in April. barndoor

Went down there the other day to see what all the Hype is about...fished about 30 min. (dint have much time) caught the dinks on stumps right against the bank...fishing under a bobber about 9" using one of Sac-lait-pats hand tied jigs...slow presentation. If you don't live close, in my opinion it's not worth the drive....lots of pressure...probably 20 cars there the WEEKDAY I went +1 I agree. I only fish it because it is close to the house. This creek gets way too much pressure. There is an average of 15-20 vehicles down there on a daily basis, which results into about 1 fish out of 15 being a keeper. There is also one culture that fish this creek that keep 7 inch crappie. barndoor

150$ per fish under 10 inches, when the warden says hi..
Today is the first day i saw the biggest crappie being pulled out.. Between 12-15 inches..

even jail time if you got alot so WHO ever is keeping those small ones i adivse you to not keep them anymore because the Game Warden now has been notifided
