wolmanized and marine grade or not
the same thing. Marine grade has to
do with the type of glue used the
number of layers thickness of the outer
layer and the amount of voids in the ply
layup. Wolmanized can be most any type
of layup that has been pressure treated with chemicals to retard rot.
For you casting deck it will not
really matter that much and you
can get the wolmanized in thinner
sizes locally. It will be hard for
you to find anything in a Marine
grade in Texas except for Marine Grade
fir 1/2" and 3/4". I've look hard for
some BS1088 and so far have not found
anyone in Texas to get it from, so I'll
be ordering the 15 sheets I'll need of
it out of Florida. And I would not use
poly resins. Nno more than you will need
epoxy will not be that much more and
you'll have a deck that will last
much longer than the original. And
the epoxy will bond much better to
the existing layup than poly.
Take a look here if you would like
to get some good input on boat building
and repair.

might just be in for a surprise at what
else might not be in to good of shape.
