TRWD (Tarrant Regional Water District) is building a new pard and ramp at the old Twin Points location.....open to the public.....for a fee! Can you believe this [censored]! These people have made so much money off mineral rights from XTO energy, those they have "invested" this money into another way to rip us off....they havn't announced the fee yet...I was told after the first...

Whats the fee?? I heard $5, if thats the case I wouldnt complain about that at all... compared to the criminal rates all the marinas charge out there $5 seems like a heck of a deal.

Heck if they made the fee half of all the marinas they would probably double or triple their income due to the traffic they would aquire with lower costs compared to charging the same as everyone else currently does!!

We were out there Monday and it looks they are just waiting to pour concrete for the parking areas and road to the ramp. The ramp and courtesy docks are done. 4 ft of water at the end of the ramp where the boat would be going in the water. I know I will be using it. I am tired of paying $15 to launch out there.

Looks like it is going to be a great ramp with deep water around the docks.

Right next to the house and only 5 dollars. When the lake is low and I cant use the neighborhood ramp I'll use it. Beats driving to West Bay

Lets all watch this close to see if GREED takes over on the fee's
Too many rich folkes here that don't want fisherman around

If fee's jump up we all need to send letters to TPWD

glad to hear they are finishing it, it has been a few months since I was over that direction to check on it.

$5 to launch will be awesome and it will be PACKED!

I've used Harbor One and Lake Country ramps, but I'm not familiar with the Twin Points location. Is Twin Points on the east or west side? North or south end?

In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.

on the south end. if you know where the AYA stinger field is just on the east side of the damn, i believe the entrance is right there. been awhile since i been by there, but they were moving alot of dirt close to road, like thats where the entrance was going.

You guys who live close might start coming down on the side of the homeowners if its a cheap place to launch. I like to fish the lake but with gas prices like they are the lake could easily get overfished.

They wrecked one of the best big fish spots on the lake when they built this. But iam really glad there there getting close to finishing the park. It will be nice to have somewhere to launch when the lakes low.
