I own a sprint 277 also. I bought my new in 1994.
One thing to change out is the gas selector valve.
I have found that if one tank gets low enough
the plastic valve does not isolate the tanks.
I had a promblem where I was sucking air when
I took off. One thing about the sprint I like
is the large storage area and the top of your
deck and doors are all Aluminium. The number one thing I like it the gas milege.

Hey Shane, I have a 96 Sprint 207 Tournament. Can't say enough good about the boat. I have had it about a year now, and NO problems. Just hated to hear they quit making Sprint. The transom seems to be built well on these boats. And the ride is nice>>>smooth. I fish out of mine from early spring to late fall 6-10 times a month. They take the abuse well. As with any boat, I take mine to the car wash every other time I go out to keep the film knocked off and keep that gelcoat looking new. Hope you enjoy your Sprint. Take Care, Adam
