For those that have this jacket did you get the parka or the light jacket with the liner you can zip up into it?
Trying to decide. I already have the bibs.
Looks like I would save some cash going with the parka but the liner doesn't unzip...

+1 on the liner. Heavy when worn and it keeps you warm.

I just scored a freaking Guide Wear Jacket for $141.00!!!!
It was brand new...my size in the Bargain Cave for $185.00..the barain cave was also an additional 25% off today!!!! What a freaking steal.
Give yourself room to move around in the BPS 100mph set up...its heavy and you do not want to be bound up.
I have an XL BPS for blue and black 100 mph jacket for sale for $125.00....used 10 times at the most.
Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

I have the 100MPH jacket with the liner and as stated it is heavy with the liner but will keep you warm on the coldest days. You will not regret having it when it's bitter cold....

Chad,
I have the old style parka with the zip in liner. It has to be really cold for me to use the liner tho.
You can't go wrong with either one. I will probably buy a lightweight one also.

I just bought the parka and fished for five hours today on Ray Hubbard with just a sweatshirt underneath it. Since it does not allow the wind to penetrate it, it would have to be a little colder to need a liner IMO.

I have the parka but prefer a hoodie type sweat shirt underneath so I can remove the parka if needed and have the hoodie on under.
I've fished the coldest days with a base layer, hooded sweat shirt, and the parka and was very warm.

I am a big fan of keeping the rain suit light as possible and wearing layers underneath. That way you can extend the season from 3 months into 6-8 months as you can dress appropriately underneath

Anyone try the Pro-Q parka/jacket? It blocks wind like the 100mph too?

Get the parka with the zip in liner. But get the new liner that is light weight. Almost like it's made out of down. Very light weight. The wind stopper liner is very heavy. But I would not get the light weight jacket. You'll regret it down the road.
