does anyone on this forum every fish the bank on the lost and old rivers near barbers hill and baytown off I-10?

I've fished it a few times and caught a cooler full of nice sized croakers (good fish fry) but I'm trying to find out what else normally runs through there.

Last time I saw some guys parked right next to the bridge. But there is a little road just past the bridge as your head east that looks like it goes down to the bank a few hundred yards down river.

Almost all brackish water will have some redfish and flounder. There have also been bull sharks found in the rivers up as far as Lake Livingson dam (!!)
Although they may not be there this time of year, depending on water temps.
