Well it's cold and raining here today and I was thinking this is the start of jig season for me.

What is your favorite 1/2oz jig trailer? paca craws, sweet beavers, brush hogs. I have a buddy and he will only fish the Gene Larue Salt Craws and I must admit they don't look that enticing but he catches some big bass on them.

a few I like to use: rage craws, paca chunks, xcite chunks, lft baby hyper freaks

The two I have been using on standard jigs are the Paca Chunk/Craw or a Xcite Chunk

For a little bulkier presentations I like a Sweet Beaver or a Xcite Raptor Craw

Pork craw

My hands down favorite jig trailer is the LFT Hyper Freak. I usually use the big one, but and smaller jigs I'll use the baby. I like the thump and it seems the fish do too. The LFT flipper is a close second.

Xcite Raptor Claw and LFT Hyper freak. I also like cutting the top off a brush hog and using the bottom of that as well.

Xcite raptor chunk or raptor craw

Brush hog or paca craw. Will sometimes put a pork chunk on there also

All depends on jig and lake I'm fishing. I'll throw the zoom speed craw and swimming chunk on certain lakes and I'll use a sweet beaver or xcite craw on other lakes. Football jigs I'll use a brush hog full size and a lft hyper freak

Berkley chigger craw-usually cut a little of the body off before putting it on.

Haven't used the LFT Hyper Freak (yet)...gonna have to give 'em a go..

The quality of Xcite Baits Raptor Craw and Chunck baits are top notch. It's not unusual to catch 10-20 fish on each chunk... Great jig trailers!

I use paca craws and rage craws

It's a tough one...when it's Really cold I really lime Pork....but a LFT Flipper is tough to beat. A bit warmer water and you won't get a Hyper Freak off my jig
