I was wondering what prices are like to get the the seats on my 92 Glastron ski boat recovered and if anybody knew of any good places around the area to do it for cheap. Its been in storage for about 12 years and my father said if I fixed it up I can take it out. The motors in great condition I just have to get a battery and some water hooked up to it and fire it up. But the owner of the storage facility failed to mention to us, that the roof over our boat had been ripped off in a wind storm. So about 40 percent of the interior seat covers are trashed from sun and rain for who knows how long. It was a pretty nice place 12 yrs. ago but the place aint lookin good at all now a days. The cushions in the boat are fine, I just need the covers replaced. Thanks for any recomendations.

Just my 2 cents: Price wouldn't matter too much b/c the storage facility would be paying for it. You were paying for COVERED and PROTECTED storage.

That's what I told my dad but he said he didn't want to make trouble where he didnt have to. And I guess he didn't feel it was worth it.

I took mine to a place off of Jacksboro HWY in Lake Worth last year, had it completely redone, wood, carpet, seats and cushions, ran about 650.

Just about any hot rod interior shop or furniture repair shop can do this along with North Texas Fiberglass in Denton Texas. BUT BUT BUT!!!!!
Do not start the engine!!!!!! Have a certified mechanic pull the plugs and squirt TCW3 oil and penetrating oil into all the cylinders and check them for RUST! Do not start it!!! It might just destroy itself in the first 3 seconds.!! You will also need a new water pump impeller, new lower unit gear oil, and a normal tuneup, and probably a new fuel pump, and a carb rebuild, along with all new fuel delivery hoses. After 12 years most of the rubber in and around the engine could be rotted out!
