I went out to the marina Sat. morning till 12pm caught 4 Between 11-12 inches the bite is starting to pick up with the cool weather. I was using jigs but some guys were doing good on minnows. I just got my new rod in today from AMAC Rods I plan to go out again soon Ill be sure to report back.

I'm taking my mom fishing after the new year and wanted to find a crappie barge/house for her so she can get out of the weather. My question is : Is the fishing barge open during the week or is it only weekends? And if it is open during the week, what time is it open or is it 24 hours. Thank you to anyone who can let me know.

As of right now the barge is closed mon-Thursday unlesyou have a slip it is ope the weekends I believe 7am-10pm.
