I have gone over board! It all started when I broke #1 piston we sent the block off to the shop and it was re-sleeved and was told that the power pack may been bad. So I bought one$$$. Will now I have not had this thing run right yet now I can put a new Spark Plug in #6 and it will burn good when I keep it under 3,000 RPM it looks good and just a little brown. I install a new one in again and this time run it above 3,000 RPM and the plug looks like it did when I pulled it out of the package (still white) I was now told that this was do to a bad Timing Base. Any one with a extra one? I was told that a new one cost around $350 and I can't spend that much on something that may not be the problem
