The only times I've ever been that close, I didn't have my camera and the other was when the bastages flew off before my cell-cam would come up!

we have seen 2 at the t wok damn and 1 on a small private lake in cumby about a week ago..

I have seen Bald Eagles on Sam Rayburn the last 8 times I have been fishing. Saw four at one time in veech, with two of them tying up in mid air.
