He's a great guy and guide. I've fished twice with him and had a blast each time, and caught plenty of fish too!

He is one of the best, On or off the water. I consider him a very good friend.

Just booked two trips with him last week for next year. Can't wait.

Stephen is a great guy. He taught my 9 year old son how to throw a baitcasting reel, which I am ashamed to say, I couldn't do. After we spent 10 plus hours of fishing my son said to me "that's the best fishing we've ever done dad".

We took my 10 year old daughter the previous summer and he accommodated her every need. They were having conversations that didn't include me. He got down on her level and made the trip all about her. When it came time for a bathroom break, we all went swimming to keep my daughter from being embarrassed. We were on a deep summertime bite and caught plenty of 3-5 lb fish. He made sure they both caught plenty of fish.

I've heard people complaining on the TFF about fighting over "spots". He never crowded any other boat, in fact when another boat crowded us Stephen left and let the other boat have the spot. I guess you could say he avoided conflict.

I know Fork is a great fishery, I have a boat and feel I could catch fish there, but with Stephen, It's an almost guarantee that he'll put the kids on some quality bass and that takes the stress off me.

He also serves our country as a Marine.

He's definitely a stand up guy.

Grade A Class Act right there in Stephen Fatherree

Politicians, baseball players, high-powered corporate CEO's they all seem to eventually let us down. Nature, however, does not. Look to her for inspiration and you will learn the secrets to living a good life. The most Important lesson it would seem is to make sure you spend as much time fishing as anything else.
