Does anyone know if the hydrowave is said to help while flipping and pitching? Obviously it's meant to mimic shad and moving bait patterns so I wondered if anyone has any experience while flipping?

Also, will the hydrowave transducer fit if I already have one of the big Humminbird SI transducers on the TM? Thanks.

I dont see why it wouldnt, I wish they would make a crawfish sound however. The speaker will not fit on bottom with SI transducer, you have to put it on top. Here is a pic of mine, i used the hose clamps that came with the SI transudcer.

Try some smaller hose clamps and attach it to the shaft of the trolling motor with the speaker facing down. That should do the trick.

That picture of the TM helped a ton.. never thought of putting it on the top of the TM... duh.

Now just need to see if anyone has any experience using the hydrowave in close quarters pitching. I almost wonder if sound coming from it would spook close bass or alert them to my presence in an adverse way?

The people at hydrowave said the speaker on top works fine, thats how swindle uses it and few other pros that choose for SI on the TM. You can utilize the hose clamp instead of using the ties they send, I promise ya it is rock solid! I had a day few days back at Tyler where I caught 15 consecutive fish out of an area- all 3-5 lb chunks, and I almost believe it had something to do with it. they were active as heck in this one area. Did it help, IDK but my suspicion is that it contributed to the numbers of active fish.

Just call them and ask, get your answer straight from the horse's mouth. I called them in regards to DrenAg not sure if mounting it on top effected performance and a lady answered on the second ring and talked to me and explained everything we needed to know.

Their CS seems to be good from the one experience we had, she knew the answer right away.
