Going to Corpus after Christmas. Where are good piers and jetties to fish? Bait help also. Never fished this area. I will have wife and 2 kids. Thanks for your help.

Head over towards Portland and you'll see Indian point pier, it hs been good fishing there under the lights for sand and speckled trout. I was using white or chartreuse 1/16 oz jigs with a spinning rod combo.

Also at the USS Lexington, there is a free jetty that has been good for Sheepshead right now. I was freelining shrimp and catching them in about 3 feet of water.
