Some of you are Abu collectors. I have a near mint 5000 with a high capacity black spool, but all the reference I have, tell me most were beige standard capacity or rare black standard capacity. No info for a high black capacity.

Does it have a number on the reel foot?

Does that spool have two holes in it anywhere?

it is in great condition.

No on the two holes and the foot number is 402379

Update: This is a common spool for the 5000 it was added to the line and called the 5000A but the A was never on the reel. The true rare is a fat black spool and a red flare and I just found one on ebay and yes, I bought it.

5000 has not been serviced and rebuilt but the price reflects it.

What is the foot number on the 5000?

How many 4 screws would you guys like to buy ?
I can put my hands on a few.Last 4 screws were built in 1953.
We are talking about vintage reels.

780305 - This is a late 70's 3 stud reel.

on The 5000 and the 6000 has no foot number. The 6000 I believe to be a late or mid 60's but is a 3 stud also.
