Went to Falcon on Wednesday planned on fishing through Sunday....trip got cut short! Fished Thursday and had a great day. Friday morning after getting some amigos at Stripes we launched my buddies brand new triton and headed 15 minutes south to our starting hole. We get there and start fishing, instantly James pops a 4lber, then I catch one, then I have one take me under the boat and break my line. He catches one more and I catch a 2lber loose a toad and catch a 7lber....James steps down to get the scale and there is water in the boat....OH NO!!! He forgot his plug! So he jumps in to put the plug in and realizes it came completely out and we are in trouble....bilge never kicked on. Anyways, we get back and the water basically made the electrical system go crazy....announcement is DON'T TAKE OUT YOU PLUG!!! Did manage a couple good fish.

Nice fish guys. I hate stepping down on the well of the boat and getting my feet wet.....not that this has ever happened to me.....

Been there and done that i dont know how many times.My legend has an auto bilge. The fist time it happend i freaked out.Now that i know the pump will come on i dont worry.Are you sure it does'nt have auto-bilge.

Dont ask me how i know you can fish all day with the plug out in a ZX225 Skeeter.

Glad you guys made it back okay. Hope the electrical issues don't cost to much to fix.

Thats what i was gonna say as well. The only thing back there is the batteries a charger and the pumps and the oil tank. O and obviously NOT his plug.

something about Falcon my son and I were down there in feb for the first time we launched the second day and started out and I remembered we had not put mine in just in to big of a hury and forgot it just happens ,nice fish though.

You should just remind people to check to see that its in before launch. If you leave it in there is water that collects in some boats below where a bilge can get to it that will just sit there and fester, making the boat smell real nice.

Did I mention that the water was 58 degrees and outside temp was 55 and slightly drizzling when my buddy stripped to his draws and jumped in....he looked like a bird that fell out of a tree and some how got back in the boat faster than he got out of it. LoL. Then he had to ride back to the ramp for 15 minutes into the wind going 70 with no console.
When he jumped in I about lost it, not a funny moment but for whatever reason his face was hysterical!

This story is much better with James telling it on the phone. Part 2 was epic, glad y'all made it back unharmed and I told James he should have bought a Cat, lol...

Ya same here our triton will last all day fishing without the plug in. The bilge will just kick on for about 30 seconds once and hour or so
