While fishing around Baytown I noticed that there are now warning signs posted all over the place where people may fish. I know this is an old topic, but thought to bring it up again. The San Jacinto Superfund site looks like it has been completed, at least for now. There is a new "island" near the I-10 bridge going over the river, now I guess they are going to spend the money printing and posting signs. Here is a link that explains what the signs are all about better than I can. There is a link in the discussion to a pamphlet that has a pretty good map showing the effected areas, what species and why there is a warning: Galveston Bay Foundation, Consumption Information. I'm keeping my opinions to myself on this, just passing on some information I had discovered.

Should've been there a long time ago. Baytown/Galveston Bay is heavily polluted, don't need people eating fish they don't know have insane PCB levels.

The waters will eat the gelcoat right off your boat. Don't fish anywhere near here. Go south.
The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.
