I move my motor to a new boat this weekend. I was wondering if there is any specific type of silicone I should use on the motor and the bolts? Also, is there anything else I should do to help keep my transom from rotting?

Thanks,

Any type of clear 100% silicone will work fine.Just make sure you seal it up good.Seal up all areas around transom and if you drill any holes for cables or screws make sure there sealed also.
