Took my little cousin to Bethany today, and left with 7 fish. 2 fish on yellow paste, 2 on sherbet trout nuggets, and 3 on lemon-lime power eggs. 3 under bobber, 4 off bottom.

Fished Bethany this morning and the late afternoon/early evening. Caught four total but missed several strikes that would have resulted in a limit. Others were catching Trout and looked like limits were being taken! Today's Pictures.

Went to Canyon Tailrace with my kyds. Ended up with 10 fish all on chesse.

... managed a quick trip to Bethany just before dark set in. Caught one Trout on the Kastmaster, else nothing else. Ended up giving it away, adding to another fisherman's stringer of two! Today's Pictures.

As far as "live" bait for these trout, what's best - corn, cheese, power bait, other? Taking the kid out this weekend and he's not ready for any artificials. Appreciate any help in advance!

Light rain but nothing that rain gear could not handle. Fished Bethany for Trout this afternoon. First limit of Rainbow Trout this year! Largest went about 13" in size. All caught on lures. Today's Pictures.

The Trout that were stocked at Trinity Park were realeased in the small ponds off CedarElm Road? Never been to Trinity Park in Ft Worth. Certainly they were not realeased in the Trinity.

Fished Bethany today with Mckinneycrappiecatcher and caught 4 decent trout. Lost a few on the fly rod between the two of us, and lost a beautiful golden trout at the bank. The ironic part, we had just gotten done talking about golden trout (albino rainbows) being mixed in with these stocking trout and within not even 2 minutes I had him on the line. Wasn't big, but would have been cool to have landed it.

I thought you couldn't eat fish caught out of the trinity ?

Is it only the trout you could eat there, surely you wouldn't eat anything else you might catch there ??


Is that white truck the trout truck ..? it looks like he is putting the trout in the downstream side of the rocks everyone is standing on will they stay in that section or go further downstream?

Greenbrair Park Fort Worth - Report.. Sat Dec 10 .. at least a dozen fisherman. Most only caught 2-3 in the afternoon that we talked to. Powerbait eggs , orange and red color seemed best from the only fisherman I talked to with 5 trout in 2 hours.

Went back Sunday early 7am. 1 fisherman already there, caught 3 small to med on powerbait, orange between 6am-7am. We Caught one small on red powerbait egg right away 7amish. Nothing the rest of the morning, tried other colors, inline spinners, gold super dupper. Walked whole lake twice, nobody was catching anything either. Went home noon.

well they stocked both sides of the rocks. best side is the side i took pic from. fish will be caught or dead by summer so they wont get diseased. anywhoo might just give u the chitz dunno. be that as it may, they ate
