ok after you cut the tips of the feather for the jig tail, what do you do with the rest of the feather?

still learning here but I think Im getting better.

Take and cut 3/8" V's down the rest of the Hackle. Use 4 of those V's for a body on that jig or another. For instance use the tip of a Black hackle feather, and the V's off a Chartruese and you have a 2 color jig. Here's a slide show.
