.

I'm getting ready to Line-X the floor of my DuraCraft 1660SV. I installed
a plywood floor in my boat when I got it in 2004. I put Durabak on it
at that time. I considered Line-X at that time, but I did not want to
pay the $700 to get it. The Durabak ended up failing. This time
I'm going to go with Line-X Xtra.

From what I have read, Line-X is the best product of it's type available.
The Xtra version is Kevlar reinforced and UV color fast.

IF you are talking about the actual bottom of the boat and not the floor,
then you for SURE want Line-X as it is much more durable than Rhino
in respect to abrasion resistance.

good fishing, Chris

I seem to tear up the bottom front of my boats because I run them into ramps and rocks and gravel a lot..

I got some stuff that you apply yourself from Cabelas(their brand) that works well. I am sure the Line X is better but more $$ as well

what you need is a product called COAT-IT by goop, great stuff. Academy sells small cans, but you can order a large can online for around 65.00. very tough stuff, has kevlar fibers in it, levels out slick, can be painted. I have it on the bottom of a 17 foot aluminum vee bottom and it is holding up great.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !
