I use a falcon 7'6" heavy flipping stick with a curado 6:1 , braid and a floro leader..... Works incredible especially when pulling through vegetation .

I second that. The Dobyns DX 784ML is my dedicated c-rig rod. The action is perfect for the c-rig and you got the length with it being a 7'8 rod. You wouldn't be disappointed.

I believe I use a 3/4 oz weight. Haven't done it much but want to start fresh with the right equipment.

Loomis has a 7' 3" made specifically for c-rig, it is awesome. I have the GLX and they make it in a mossyback. I don't think you can get a better rod for c-rig....imo

Kistler 7ft XH Broomstick works great for me. I can throw up to a 2 oz weight with it and it handles it effortlessly.

I have a Kistler Zbone mod 5(Heavy) 7'3' LE and wouldn't change a thing.

Waiting on mine now. For a less expensive alternative, I have been throwing the 7'6"H TFO rod and it does well.

You can actually get away with a 7' rod if oyu are fishing c-rig's with a 1/2 oz. weight. Once you go up to a 3/4 or 1 oz. weight the longer rod is better. I use a 7'4" rod. Just what I like, and comfortable with. 7'6" are good as well.

I use a 7ft Hvy Veritas for my heavy C-rig rod(3/4-1oz). It also doubles for a flippin stick. I use a 7ft MH Veritas for throwing a light C-rig (1/2oz or less) Would rather have a 7'6" but they're too long for the rod locker

The BCR 874 heavy action or the BCR 875 Xheavy are the rods you are referring to.
