 Anyone know who makes Cabelas camo stix casting rods?

Just wondered if anyone has heard anything about the Camo Stix Casting Rods that they have on clearance. They were regular 149 marked down to 49. I was just curious.

Rods were made by a VERY reputable factory out of China. The rods were a good price at the original price of $149. They won best of show at ICAST in 2009 in the freshwater rod category. Heck of a deal at that price.

wish I would have got your response sooner fishntx I would have bought one but was leery about it. Already bought a couple other rods but they have alot so I still might later on if they have any left.

I ordered the 7' m yesterday to be picked up at Buda store and looked today for more variations but didn't see any. The rods are listed in the bargain cave under rock bottom deals.
Don't be afraid of the light it is just me looking for a place to fish.

I thought they were made by St. Croix. I saw how cheap they were on sale so I picked one up in the store; I didn't like it the way it felt, and put it back.
 like the man says...if you're swimming in the ocean and get bitten by a shark, its not a shark attack. You're in THEIR neighborhood. If you're at home in your shower, turn around and a shark is in there with you...THAT'S a shark attack

For the sale price they seem to be very nice.

I just bought one of the rods yesterday. a 6ft 6in medium action. I fished with it today and it worked great. I really liked the way it felt in all aspects. It's worth the $29.99
