probally not......some them fellars got them Abu 7000's on them and if it is just buy a PA reel too........

Yea but i got 4 penn 3/0 just wonderin what a a good quality rod would be i have 7.5 ft bluefin clyapso on righ now an i love em great back bone just want somthin longer for better castin

Ive got a reel about that size on one. Worked fine for me. There's a picture on the other Pro Angler thread.

Yea i saw the pic an checked out the web site i just wanted to hear what yall had to say i dont want to get them an have the reels be to big for the rods

It should be fine but if you wanted you could meet up with me sometime on Worth, strap it to one of my rods and give it a go. I'll prob be out there all day on Thurs
