In the spillway at NM they removed most of the water to check the structure and maybe do some upgrades. Here is a look see what is really on the bottom...






The big question is "What did they do with the fish"...
Answer is: TP&W & Corp. of Engineers placed 8 small trash dumpster size loads of catfish, crappie and bass back into the lake. A camper at Oak Park said there were some very large catfish put in the lake. Our tax dollars at work doing the right thing. flag bannana2

So they took the fish from the spillway area and put them back in to the main lake?

Cool pictures.

I fished a couple of times behind the spillway at Granbury many years ago...wading in it. It "felt" like those pictures looked.

I pulled a few fish out of that spot when I was going to school at Navarro. Left a few hooks, weights and countless lures down there too.

these are cool pictures....i always wondered what that bottom looked like! I have caught alot of nice yella cat and crappie from that very spot! Thanks for posting these! thumb
