I have a 1955 25hp sea horse. My lower unit is pitted pretty bad, the gears are pretty much shot (I can run it at idle and it wont slip out of gear). I've come in contact with a fellow selling a lower unit for a 30hp sea horse. My motor sits on a huge block, the whole motor is enormous compared to present day 25's. Any ideas, without trying it on, if this may fit or if the gears would work on my motor?
