How do you drain the old gas out of a Merc 5.7 V8 That is still in the boat?

The best way is to remove the fuel tank sender unit and siphon it directly out of the tank. Be sure to use a new gasket when you reinstall the sender.

I followed the hose from where you put gas in and it runs to the tank that is under the removable floor piece. Right where it should be huh? wink
