Trolling motor gone mad!

In the last few months my wireless motor guide trolling motor has come on twice while sitting in a slip at Harbor bay on RH. What's going on here?

maybe a short? disconnect when you stow it.

Maybe someone else has the same transmitter. Best to unplug when not in use.

control board is bad. also need to disconnect from power anytime it is not in use. will constantly draw power and could come on at anytime if the board has a problem.

Gregg is good people and he knows his stuff, they helped me out with an issue awhile back and got my trolling motor going again.

That makes a lot of sense. Now I need to come up with a way to easily disconnect from the power source. Thanks for the help!
