All one has to do is go to the Juniper Cove Marina, and ask Jack. He fishes there every day.As of last week, they were still slow.We need more weather staying cold.We are going down to our lake house this weekend, and I will let you no,as to how they are bitting.

Thank you marc! I have only lived in this area for about 6 months and haven't fished but a few lakes around here. I have heard good things about juniper though. Let me know how the bite is. Have a good weekend.

Someone needs to pass this on to the crew from Alabama who is repairing the Corps Park Ramps at Whitney. They are big on crappie fishing and were asking me about it when I loaded up yesterday.... but, I couldn't catch a crappie in a barrel, much less on Whitney.... so I couldn't help them.
They are going to be here for a while repairing the ramps.... so, if you see them, pass the crappie info along... they will appreciate it. Their trucks and trailers all have Alabama tags so they are not hard to identify.

Will do,and nice to no about them. What I like about Juniper Cove is when the weather is bad, wind, ect.we can still fish inside the Marina. The people there are the ones who fish there just about every day,and aside from being really good people, will also share their fishing help.Like how deep, and what to use.As for Jack, he just turned 90 years old,and if I only forgot have of what he knows about crappie fishing , I would be a professional.

Bad news,no fish biting as of this Sunday. Fished Sat. and Sun. with no one getting a fish.Guess it has to get colder
