I have my Johnson running but I think it could run a little better. It is a little rough in places but smooth at other spots. I cleaned the carbs and put a new kit in each. I don't know if i have the needle valves set just right. How much do people charge to tune these things up (timing, adjust the carburetor, etc.). Runs rough and dies at idle so I tryed the idle adjustment screw but it is screwed in all the way and it still idles too slow.

I also think it is running a little rich, because I can smell gas occasionally.

I put a new fuel filter on it this afternoon and took it out, it ran great! I think that must have been my problem.

Thanks

Scott
