I have an 89 johnnyrude 50 (evinrude) on my bass tracker that has a leaking seal on one of the lift pistons. Is this easy to replace? If so, where do I get the seal, if not, where should I take it and how much will it cost. I am in Dallas... Thanks!

Duck, The seal kit is about $15.00 plus the oil you will need. It requires a spanner wrench and a little patience while resealing and bleeding. We charge 2.0 - 2.5 hrs. to do the job. Call me or e-mail me and we can help you any way you want to go.

Thanks Tommy! It was nice to meet you yesterday. I can tell this will be a better better boat repair experience than the last place I took it. You are highly recommended by others, and just from meeting you and seeing your operation, I will add my endorsment (for what its worth)
