Academy now has the famous 912s in stock, and not just a few of them either!! I couldn't afford to clear them out so go get them while they are hot!!!

I understand they are getting some other items mentioned at the meeting or in the forum, or that they are on order. Let's show our appreciation and break out the wallet and go buy the baits we told them we wanted.

Sportsmans warehouse has had them since they opened show's you how up with the times academy is.

I personally don't care for academy I will stop in from time to time but Ive never been impressed by them.

They are good about letting you trade in rods etc.. that are broke but there rod selections is ****.

Since sportsman's came to town I spend way less time at bps and academy.

It's 911 plus 1... Come on now...

Dennis... It's the Yamamoto Senko 9-10-912. It's a watermelon laminate that has worked on every lake across this state that I've been too. Especially on Toledo Bend, Rayburn and Amistad. They have been impossible to find in most places. You had to order them and pay the high shipping costs on them. Now, Academy told me that they had over 100 packages of them in Abilene and the other stores either were getting them or already have them also.

It works pretty good on Fork and Roberts also..

Nitro quit making the 912 in '99. Glad to know Academy has some. Seriously, if they are that good, I may have to try them.

The Senko is one of my mainstay baits. I will have to check out those. Watermelon Red is my biggest producer.

I went to an Academy in San Antonio today and they didn't know what I was talking about and I wasn't sure what I was looking for either.

I agree with Hawke, Sportsman's for me unless there is a specific reason to go somewhere else, they've got lots of good stuff.

Pitchinfool, which Academy do you go to? It sounds like the one off of HWY 151 & 410, the fishing dept manager at that store does not give a hoot.... Talked with hime on the phone after Hag did great things in Abilene and I got the feeling the whole time that this guy just wanted to get me off the phone.
